Music Minister

Fred Goff

Fred and his wife, Pat, have been in positions of church leadership since 1994. They served as youth pastors at the 1st Baptist Church, Granite Shoals, Texas for five years. They were also involved in the music program. Fred was the assistant choir director and Pat played the keyboard. In addition to playing the keyboard, Pat is a gifted composer and singer.

On June 21, 1999 they were ordained as missionaries for the North American Mission Board. They served with Alpine Resort Missions in Colorado in the summers of 2000 and 2001. They met Br. Wade at a revival where he was preaching and they were the music team. Buchanan West had been praying for a Music Minister and they joined us in February 2002. Fred is fond of saying "Be careful what you pray for because you never know who the Lord will send in answer to that prayer!"

They love their position at Buchanan West and love the church family. They are thankful for our choir and enjoy every single time they get together and sing for the Lord.
